The centerpiece of Fairways & Bluewater Boracay is its 18-hole championship golf course. This 6,524-yard facility has a pro shop, locker rooms, club rentals, tee houses, and beverage cart. Players can always expect the help of well-experienced caddies and golf professionals.
This is the main Shopping Center in Boracay located right in the middle of the tropical island. D´Mall extends from White Beach up to the main street between Station 1 and Station 2.
Numerous small shops offer beach wear, casual wear, shoes, bags, sarongs, handicrafts, arts, jewelry, accessories, souvenirs, fruits, vegetables and much more. In addition, there are travel agencies, money changers, pharmacies, dive shops, delicatessen shops, supermarkets and a lot of restaurants available to explore around the island.
You can start off your day with a superb breakfast at Real Coffee, Lazy Dog, and LeAmon Cafe or at the Sunny Side Cafe. You may also try Pamana restaurant, Maya's or Mesa restaurant for some Filipino cuisine. Don't leave the island without visiting Los Indios Bravos (gastropub cuisine).
Most of these restaurants offer seafood, but if you want to personally choose and buy fresh seafood, go to Tindahan It Boracay (TIB Market) and have it cooked at one of the market's restaurants that offer the seafood.
Popular night spots include Epic, Summer Place, Om Bar and Wave Bar. These party places are known to last until the break of dawn! :D Bonus tip: visit Exit or Aplaya for techno music.
Getting around Boracay is quite uncomplicated. Your hotel should be able to easily arrange a private transportation for you (subject to availability).
Those who prefer more independence in Boracay will find plenty of offers to rent a motorbike (scooter) or mountain bike. Rental periods can be hourly, daily or weekly. Almost all streets are paved with asphalt on the island. A foreign driving license is sufficient for tourist stays of up to three months in the Philippines.
June marks the beginning of the summer season in Boracay, with warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine. While the weather is generally pleasant, it's essential to be prepared for occasional rainfall and humidity.
We recommend dressing in lightweight and breathable clothing to stay cool and comfortable during your stay in Boracay. Don't forget to pack sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun's rays.
